Weather continues to be straaaaange here. After a couple of nice and warm tropical fronts coming through and drenching us, we next were treated to a fast succession of darn cold Arctic fronts, with lots of lightning and thunder and some wind. It got so cold I had to turn on the heater last night. I am darn good at resisting turning that sucker on and try even to keep my windows and doors open as much as possible, but yesterday was too cold for that. I closed everything up and succumbed to the spinning meter thing by seven or so. Just a couple blasts and only up to sixty-two... but... still.
And now today is gorgeous, and too warm to keep the windows and doors closed, too warm for layers. It's too warm for socks. Worried about chilblains yesterday and steaming up my glasses today. There's just no accounting for it anymore.
