I am bonkers for the old Chinese masters. I don't even like the Japanese ones... let alone the American ones... but the Chinese ones, yessir, they knew the score. They didn't put even a breath of ceremony on it... not even the breath of no ceremony. The only Japanese master who came up to them was the one who trained with them. And they were the ones who, somehow, gave me the idea that there was an extremely advanced antiquity.
This would have been after that, but, still, I love it to bits.
