Since just about anything you might think up is being put out there, I don't see why this should be left out.
It's not my favorite hour with Henrik, but there are some things worth thinking about in here.

It bothers me that this guy is into the copycat myth. I never bought that. It seems too Hollywood, doesn't resonate. I don't like how closely he's sticking to the official line. I don't think he brought that much to the table beyond a calm discussion of some of the more pertinent aspects of the latest expression of what psychopaths think of as statecraft. But we don't get the second half of this conversation, where he might've made a better case for himself.
It's too pat. He mentions somewhere along the line that it's beyond human understanding. Well, I know what he meant, but it's anything but beyond human understanding. Humans kill themselves. Humans kill others. Even when it's senseless it's not beyond our understanding at all. And just because there are rashes of suicides throughout history doesn't make them "copycat". Suicide always becomes more doable when someone near has done it.
You are reminded there's a way out. You're that much sadder. That much more empathetic. That much more driven by emotion.
It would be similar with homicidal urges, but, seriously, no, really, those are not, not, not, not, not as common as they're being made to sound.
They want us demoralized and frightened. They want us confused. They want us disinclined to trust each other. They want this planet and a nice herd of utterly obedient slaves.
