I bought one of the preloaded minutes ones once. I was visiting my father who was locked up in a ward. I was staying in a place that had no phones in the rooms. I wanted to be able to call him. I ended up using up the minutes on one call to my cousin because the calls in or out on that thing from where I was staying were abortions.
Still, I have not liked the things from the git. I always thought I would love them. Instead, I have just plain not wanted to be near them. Ever.
