I don't know how he ended up being such a total jerk most of the time, but, well, he surely did. I am sorry for his pain and his family and friends' loss, but, heavy sigh, I think maybe we can at least be relieved to have one less American Exceptionalist warmonger who never lost an opportunity to depress us with his OUTRAGEOUS iconoclasm, his spitefulness against great people he never even met, his rapier tongue. I was very pleased with him for coming out so unequivocally against torture... even if murder still seemed to be okay with him... but... it's unhappy all around. There's one less awful person commanding too many ears, but another is sure to rise in his place.
