I am sort of bumming today about the state of things and the insufficiency of the modern mentality to deal effectively with it. It isn't something that can be upheld unless there is a good enough number of others in agreement. It involves merit, humans who don't dwell on self. It involves intelligence and dedication to real things. The number of otherwise brilliant people dwelling on the monetary aspects of all this trouble are proving their inability to get the requisite insight. It's a weight, and I need my youth back.
