It's just in the first few minutes of this, but we are being reminded that the evil Russians are trying to keep the whole North Pole to themselves. The Canadians are mounting a feeble counter posture, but the dumb Americans don't have it together to blitz everybody out of the goods. I wanted to call and tell them to relax, that we'd waitt until everyone else had done the work and then simply relieve them of their goodies, but, well, I don't even think we're going to be able to separate out the Cold Cold War from the various cold wars about to go hotly WWIII.
