You go past the immediate part where everything plugs up and there's so much heaving involved, and it just turns into a sort of cosmic stream, making puddles on all the planets. I have loved him for a long time. I don't think anyone in business in my lifetime has deserved all that money, except him. Anything that's gone wrong with Apple has been since he was too sick to stop it, and I wish I could believe they will carry on in his spirit. I don't think 99.99% of the people on earth could do it, and I mean that. I remember when they fired him. I was so appalled and demoralized. The small of spirit beat down the great again. I rooted for him in those years. Leapt at every bit of news about him. I am grateful that the whole world got to get a glimpse of something closer to what it could be like here, but I don't think we're going to be that lucky again. Who can reach inside for that and make it live, make it walk the earth, make it try so hard?
