Bad enough in itself, people tend to enjoy it. On some level, all ignorance is willful, but it's another one of those deadly personal choices for which there are mountains of convenient excuses, not just hanging all around you in an orchard of fruit-laden trees, but urgently being pressed upon you by even your favorite people.
