The bullcrap about the debt ceiling and default is all over how much pain who has to endure in order that space lizards may continue slaughtering people for fun and profit. There isn't a word out of any of them about ways to uplift the lives of average Americans or to stop extinguishing the lives of average brown persons. These are NOT tangential concerns.
Plus, it's utter theater because they could merely declare that the debt is halved and NOBODY would do anything about it. I'm almost hoping they cut off Social Security so that the masses of old people will go in their millions to rip these people limb from limb... literally take them apart.
