That I might, in fact, be from off world. I'm trying to think of someone I ever met who's as weird, or even tending to weird in similar ways.
I got in bed at a semi-reasonable time last night, emptying my head as I listened to the Warthog pilot talking with Shawn. Suddenly dropped into a very deep well of blackness — the sleep of the dead — but was awakened rudely in desperate pain just minutes later.
It felt as though my right arm had been torn off.
But, nope. It was still there. The intense pain lasted for about a minute and then resolved completely. I had, I'm pretty sure, gone literally drilling my way down that very deep well with my right arm trying to bore through my mattress.
Top that! I dare you.
