I think I might settle down to watch the whole thing tonight. A whole bunch of my favorite people were there... even if few others... and I spent most of today power-dream-sleep-napping away the horrific news that dragged me up out of bed in the middle of last night to confirm the passing of the great Nasrallah.
I pretty much hated the savagery against Soleimani, but he had gone around to fighters in Iraq and Afghanistan with advanced IEDs that they reckon killed at least 600 of our troops in Afghanistan and maimed countless others... not as judicious a protector as Nasrallah by a long shot. It was still savage and disappointed me, but still within the bounds of "national security" from Trump.
Bibi's little Godfather movie skit of talking peace at the UN while carpet bombing Lebanon may have escaped most Americans, but I guess not most Lebanese, Iraqi or Yemeni people....
